Hello my fellow rotary heads. My car recently died off the freeway. Sorry for the long post. I am assuming it's a knock sensor problem and praying its not a seal

Scenario:

I was driving home from work on the highway in 97 degree weather. After about 10 minutes, my AC stopped working and I thought it just broke. About 10 minutes later, the AC starts working but when I let off the gas, the RPM drops and the engine dies. I restarted the car by "push starting" it and it would die again. I did this several times to see if it would fix but no positive outcome. I kept the RPM manually at least above 1k RPM so the engine wouldn't die while getting off the highway, I pulled over and let the car die itself. I ended up with code P0327 and my engine would not restart. When I checked my coolant, I see my reservoir tank empty. I filled it with water but the car is still not starting. The battery also died and the car does not start up when I jump start it, though it turns over. Anyone have any experience or solution for this problem? I am going to be taking a look at it when I get off work today. Thanks in advance! Oh and also, I tried pull starting it with a truck and the car will not go above 20 MPH, and dies again when letting off the gas.

2004 RX-8 with 89,000 miles. When I checked my accessport on the freeway, my temperature was around 197? I did not see it go over 200.
