Car runs super smooth but when you do full throttle it bogs down. stay anywhere under 3/4 and it accelerates just fine. Car has Esmeril coils, stock wires, and rx7 spark plugs.
I have cleaned injectors, throttle body and still does it.
Any ideas would be great.

this is with a turbo?

if not first guess would be plug wires. second fuel pump..

no turbo, turbo sucks! lol ill get some new wires on.

Changed wires and that didn't do it. Pump is stock and hasn't been touched.

 

So we have done everything, checked COILs, checked injectors, TB, OMP, Vaccum lines, and its still doing it. There is absolutely no hesitation if you slowly rev it up, just when you step on it beyond 70% throttle is when it bogs and loses power. It does continue to rev up but at like 1-10 rpms a second.

 

I have the exact same problem, and I had a fuel leak, so I replaced my Fuel Pump, and it's still having a problem under full throttle. I have an 04 Rx8 with 55k Miles.

I don't have very many MODS, I am running a Racing Beat Cat Delete, G-Force Chip, a QTP Cutout after the Mid-Pipe, and a AEM Cool Air Intake.

The problem started right after I had my Transmission rebuilt, my Syncos were out Sync big time so I had my Transmission Rebuilt, New Clutch, and my FlyWheel was saved, just touched it up a little, because the Clutch was cutting into it.

Any ideas? Oh and I just ordered Spark Plugs and Wires. I doubt that's going to fix it but it doesn't hurt to change them, since they are stock.
