Okay so, here's my story. I was driving my car in a neighborhood going to my girlfriends house and then it became hard to shift cause my clutch stopped disengaging... so I drove it to her house and turned the car off. The car goes in and out of gear fine when off, but when on it won't even budge. Whenever I depress the clutch pedal I can't hear the clutch disengaging and when it's all the way to the floor I can hear a grinding noise coming from under the car which leads me to believe that my throw out bearing is done. I don't think it's my master or my slave because neither of them are leaking, and the clutch pedal still has pressure (although it seems like it may be a little less than before). Anyway, just wondering if I could get any input on this before I dig in and drop the tranny. Thanks in advance.

dont need a new trans.same thing happened to me in vegas at a casino.
had clutch,both bearings, pressure plate replaced and fly wheel surfaced.
not sure if it was the pilot bearing or the throw out bearing, but one them
went out and i could not engage any gears while car was running.

Did you look at your clutch pedal bracket to see if its broken?

That's what I figured it was, so I just went ahead last night and ordered a new stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, and bearings, etc. Hopefully that's all it is! I needed to change my clutch and throw out bearing anyway, you could hear it going out haha.

My pedal bracket is fine, I already have a reinforcement bracket on it.

My pilot bearing broke.
Had the pilot bearing replaced and everything works fine now.
