can you tell me what this hose is ?

MA can you tell me what this hose is ?



the one with the rubber around it just started leaking oil and really lets out a good stream when the car is on...anybody know what its called so i can replace it and avoid the dealer charges ??

yhea follow it, does it attach to one of your oil coolers? if you drive a stick there will be 2 oil coolers. one in each of the outer openings in your front bumper. if its an auto i believe you would only have one on the drivers side but im not 100%sure about the autos

Yes that is the oil cooler feed line and it goes to the drivers side oil cooler. Because of space and the lines freezing, they are not an easy job. Racing beat sells an aftermarket set of lines http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8/Oil-System/11911.html

so there's no way I could just patch this ?? or just replace that one small line cuz I don't need the whole kit
