I currently have the green stuff in my rx8. I bought some Xerex coolant, but it's pink not green. The parts guy said it was OK, but I'm not sure. They're both ethylene glycol, but the color difference worries me. Am I right by not mixing?

Buy some good old Prestone and be confident its the right stuff. I wouldn't put any pink or red coolant in our cars.

 

just do a a coolant flush if your so worried. you never know your coolant might be old and have voltage and eat up all your seals.
