A/C Grill (or something)

Somewhere in this forum I have read about the importance of...uh..buying..er, something for the front grill because it is not very well protected stock, and stray highway rocks and stones could penetrate it and cause damage.

If I had to guess it has something to do with the A/C grill. That's a guess. I can't seem to find any mention of this again, however, and I must be using the wrong search words.

Does anyone know what I am referring to? And what should be done?
Thanks.

Excellent.
Now where do I get it, and how do I put it on.

Hymee started the whole thing (see www.hymee.com) with the protection grills after a rock hit and damaged his A/C condenser.
It was also my first mod.

I just put the Racing Beat grilles on this past week, and I think they look great. They were incredibly easy to put on, and they fit the car perfectly. Look very durable too. Whichever screens you decide on, I would not go long before getting them. It's worth the small expense to avoid a real costly problem.

I also just looked over the fitting instructions. I have no experience working on cars at all ... looks pretty intimidating. Also, I noticed the car he used did not have fog lights.
I dunno...I'm thinking perhaps the extended warranty will cover damage should it occur.

The dealer has done it for some owners.
My car has fog lights too, no problem.
I don't think any warranty will cover that type of accidental damage.
