I have tried looking through the search on the forums, but could not come to a solid enough conclusion.

My AC compressor does not turn on with the switches within the car. However, I can trip the switch with a circuit tester if I stick it into one of the wire holes. which leads me to believe that maybe it isn't grounded correctly?

I was informed that it could be a bad compressor switch, but before I purchase anything I'd like to get an opinion if this is a common problem or not.
