A/C blows cold only on passenger side

hey guys I recharged my A/C and it went from no cold air to cold air only on passenger side vents.... I tried messing with the settings but it's still only on the passenger side. is this a common problem?

1.) Do you park outside overnight or garage kept?
2.) have you checked the duct work for foreign objects like squirrel or mice nesting etc?

You may laugh, but it's happened before!

Actually one guy had mice getting into his garage and then nesting. Took him quite awhile to get the bastards! Chew up a good amount of wiring as well.

Could be your cabin air filters blocked. They are located behind the glove box.

it's outside because the "single car garage" is big enough for a 92 gti but not the 8 lol and rats nest really? lol that's crazy maybe that could be why I have electrical gremlins like when I move the mirrors with the switch the stereo turns off untill I'm done lol I'll look into the cabin air filter but I don't get how the passenger side is ice cold tho

Well, please make sure you update us if/when you find out what is is.
There are several people with this issue(from what I can tell), and it would be nice to add to the list of things for them to check on.
