broke something in the clutch pedal assembly
ok so I had an aftermarket clutch installed in my 8 (exedy stage 1) and have had nothing but headaches it always wants to grind gears it just constantly is changing at what rpm it does it at. I was told to check the clutch pedal adjustment under the dash and saw that there was a little more than 1/2 inch free play, maybe 3/4 so I went to adjust it and while turning the nut closest to the dash the wrench slipped off and directly underneath the nuts was what looks to be some sort of electronic sensor with a plastic plunger coming out of it that the pedal rested against when it was all the way up. well I snapped that little plastic plunger clean off so my question is what did I brake and how bad is this going to be? If anyone knows what I am talking about I would greatly appreciate any and all responses.

That would be the clutch cut switch. Keeps the starter from engaging unless you step on the clutch. One of those in loco parentis things foisted on us. If your car still starts, you're fine. If not, then figure out if it's NO or NC and rewire accordingly.
