MI brake noise at a slow speed

Hi guys, I have a 04 BB rx8.

my brake has been making a noise for a long time.

When I make a sudden stop on a high speed, it does not make the noise.

However, on a low speed, like stopping at a stop sign, it makes really annoying

sound like the chalkboard!

The sound continued after changing the front and rear brake pads.

I am guessing it might be the rotors, which I assume the previous owner never

changed the rotors before and I did not change it either after picking the car up at

37xxx miles. Now the car is at 54xxx miles.

Does it seems like the rotor problem?

By the way, my rotors are rusted (I heard the stock ones rust)

Make sure the caliper is sliding properly on the pins - if they rust/stick, the pad rides on the rotor.

So check the caliper first?

You may need to re-surface the rotors.

I've got a deal from Rotorpros $270 for 4 drilled and slotted rotors (black coats on the hubs) plus performance ceramic pads... does it look like a good deal?

Good ptrice, but you'll be back in a month with the same problem if your pins are still seized.

I will make sure to check the caliper and the pins to the mechanic when installing the new rotors and pads. Thanks so much!
