so spray it directly into the throttlebody? does it need to be warmed up or anything like the seafoam in the intake trick?

 

I recommend taking off the accordion tube to clean it
then unbolt the throttle body (leave the coolant hoses attached) and clean the dirt off the tube and throttle plate carefully.
Wipe the intake manifold clean behind the TB.
Spray clean the MAF
All these can be done with brake cleaner

Don't try to spray anything into your intake manifold if you don't know what it will do

 

so just a can of brake cleaner is all? thats easy enough. but ill just take a clean rag and put the cleaner on that and wipe everything down. unless i actually need to spray.

 

Well I did this and now its back to smoking again. I think it just needs to be drivin.
