blower fan died
Went outside started my 8, waited a few minutes and turned on the AC. Today being in the high 90s you can understand why. The blower fan is dead for the 3rd time in the 2 1/2 years I've owned the car. So of course it picks today with it being hot and humid for ti to die.
I'm dropping it off at the dealer tomorrow morning for them to fix it ...did i mention that it's for the 3rd time......anyone else been having this problem? Any solution that actually works? There has to be a bigger problem then just a bad blower motor ...which is what they told me it was the other two times Iit stopped working

Last summer my 'a/c' died twice - first time they replaced the electronics (temp and speed). Second time they replaced the fan motor.
This summer the fan has again started to blow erratically. It changes speed up and down on the high (4) setting unrelated to engine speed.
Likely just a matter of time before it dies again. At least I still have the original motor.

they took the motor out ans tested it on a new 8 that had no problems and it worked fine...they put it back into my car and it was fine so they call me and tell me all this so maybe its a loose wire ...so i go and pick it up and it dies again the next day in the middle of the afternoon.....it's back at the dealer ...maybe they'll diagnosis the whole thing this time (what they should have done the FIRST tiem it happened) and not just say "hey its the blower motor".
