blinking cel even at lower RPMs(misfiring)

I recently got a used motor with low mileage (couldn't afford a new reman after blowing my second engine) New BHR ignition kit(with new plugs). I got a p301 code first cylinder misfire and thought maybe one of the plugs are loose or the wires I tried to tighten the plugs and removed/reconnected the wires but they seemed fine so I cleaned MAF, did the brake pedal dance after clearing the CEL by disconnecting the Battery and now I'm getting constant blinking CEL at even lower rpms(around 4000~5000rpm) at any gear with p301. I am checking it out with help of a local rx8 owner tomorrow but it makes me scratch my head alot because last night I had what seemed to be "tractor like" noise from my engine which went away after driving home to check it out and now I also have loud Tick sound from engine every 10~15 seconds while idling.

It got me scared to drive the car with constant blinking CEL(misfiring on first rotor) at 4k rpm or above but I am still lost on what the solution might be.

car drives FINE though like it doesn't have any loss of power at any rpm and idles pretty smooth except for that loud tick noise every 10~15 seconds and tractor sound went away(fast paced tick tick plastic colliding sound) which i thought it might've been the bad engine mount since mine are pretty much done for but is it possible for them to go away after doing that for 5min?

I would appreciate any input and I did a lot of searching but seems like there are various causes everyone had(most of them being fixed with new coil/wires/sparkplugs) and this one person had wiring harness damaged which caused misfire but he fixed it by replacing the wires.

oh and I also checked for red glowing cat at night time but it didn't seem to glow after driving a while so I don't think it's a bad CAT

The only way to check the cat is to physically take it off and check.

And it could be a coil/wire/plug issue. If you can get your hands on an inductive timing light, hook it up to your battery (for powering it), and put the end (you'll known what I mean) around each wire from the coil to the plug while the car is running.

Rev up the car when it's on one of the wires, and look for the light on the timing light to blink. If it keeps blinking all the way up to 10k rpm, that one is most likely fine. Repeat with all wires... I personally shut down the car to switch the timing light onto a different wire. Not sure why just did.

Any ways eventually, especially when the car is running weird as you described, find which coil/wire /plug combo is bad.

but oh gawd this p0410 secondary air injection failure code is KILLING me I replaced the air pump with another one that I bought from one of the forum members but it seems to come back every 2~3 cold starts :/

I did notice that U-shaped hose's clamp from air pump was all the way down in the middle(it's suppose to be at the beggining and end so I put it back up on top after cleaning it with dry towel but I don't think it's the problem.

since airpump and fuse are fine i guess now it's time to check relay :/
(the CEL comes on after 20seconds of cold start while warming up and from Dealer it was said on paper "air pump will need more time will need more time or something like that")
