Just because the manufacture said it fits, it does not mean so. **** happens and dont ask me how i know
Especially true for aftermarket
Return it and get another one, or get anothet brand
Oh also, try to avoid the place who tried to install it, he doesnt know jack ****
I can get a stock cat for less than 1300. Bite me

What was the part number for the magnaflow cat? If you look around hiflite seems to think he has found a cat that from them that the rotary wont kill and it was somewhere around $100 I think. Almost all other aftermarket cats will just need to be replaced sooner or later, some can even fail quickly.
You could always try and get an exhaust shop to reweld the o2 bung on there at a different angle couldn't you?
