Whats up guys its been a while for me. So my 8 has been my weekend warrior ever since i got me a new 2014 mazda 6 itouring (which i love) but im having some issues. Ive been neglecting my 8 and finally decided to put a new battery in her. The problem is that i bought some new terminals but one of the old ones is like fused on lol. Its so old and corroded I cant even turn the thing. Its a pain. Ive tried wd40, grease, its pretty much impossible. Ive used every ounce of strength in me and it wont budge. Any ideas, i would rather not buy a new harness im sure its expensive but i also dont want my 8 sitting up for a month like it has been. Thanks for any help...

 

if you got replacement terminals then you might as well just grind off the wingnut and stud. The new terminal should have a stud on it already.

 

Paimon what do you mean grind off the wingnut and stud? I bought some marine terminals and i just need the corroded one off. It came with a new wingnut, screw and bolt. How do i "grind" it off? I would rather put the new one on as its coated and painted red and other is coated and painted black for a corrosion free life.
