Bad misfire at high rpm

So my 2006 shinka is now having horrible misfire at WOT at around 5k rpm and loses all acceleration and starts spitting flames and smoke out the exhaust horribly with a blinking CEL, i have to back off the throttle for about 5-10 seconds and then i can resume acceleration normally and gracefully... the engine was freshly rebuilt by T-REX performance before they shut down about 3 years ago and only has about 10,000 miles on it. I just had my compression checked about 4 months ago and while i forget the numbers they were healthy from what i was told.

I know I have a vacuum leak. last i checked it's reading about 0.5-0.6lb / min which i converted to 4.53 grams per second at about 830rpm which i know is out of range because for this car i need around 5-5.5 g/sec... I know I have a lean code on the engine, perhaps it's gotten worse?

fuel pump was replaced under recall a few years ago as well. I only run 93 octane in it from the same gas station i've been getting it from for over a year and it's an ethanol free gas station.

I'm probably pointing out the obvious and that it's obviously the lean condition getting worse and the issue here but is there anything else it could be or that I need to start diagnosing? I am having someone who has experience with RX-7's and rotaries start looking at this next week since I don't have tools or my own place to work on this myself but I don't want to get shafted or taken advantage of.

Modifcations are sohn adapter, air pump removed and blocked off at the exhaust manifold, straight piped exhaust (not gutted, proper exhaust)

Check the intake for oil. At high rpm the engine can barf oil into the intake via the fill neck due to blowby or overfilled oil. Looks about how you're describinng. Too much blowby is a sign of a tired engine

HOow old are the ignition coils and spark plugs?

The ignition coils I think are fairly older if not stock with about 100k miles the spark plugs are about 10k miles on them, I was told to replace them only after about 4000-7000k miles after the rebuild, i forget exactly how much

i have SIGNIFICANT blow by i've found around the accordion tube that's caked up ... Someone that claims to have some rotary experience which he seemed dubious said he wanted to take apart my oil pan and look at the oil pump but that seemed unreliable, I'm really wondering if the vacuum leak and lean condition i have is the culprit on this.

I had a compression test done about 4 months ago and it was with a standard compression tester but the math was done with an excel chart and although i don't know the numbers the guy who did it who i know knows his **** said the numbers looked great, and i haven't had any hot start issues or anything since the rebuild 10k miles ago.

So our coils rarely last 40k miles. 100k is very danger zone. I'm surprised they weren't replaced with the rebuild because dead coils kill engines.
As for blow-by, that's gas getting past your seals and going into the oil pan, forcing oil froth up the fill neck. It's usually accompanied by poor compression.

Nobody who knows their **** uses a regular tester on a rotary. Proper testers aren't that expensive.

Okay so at this point I'm assuming I should get a proper compression test done again? Should I bother replacing the coils or doing any other work in the mean time? I'm going to be pissed if I just put out about 7500 dollars in a rebuild and didn't even get 10,000 miles on it

Yeah I'd start with a comp test and make decisions from there. I should have mentioned that oil can also come up the fill neck if it's simply overfilled, so it's not automatically bad news.

Just checked my oil and mind you i'm on a little bit of an incline, but my oil is showing overfilled, see attached image to approximately where the dipstick is showing, again i'm on a slight incline but it's showing that's about where I am so I THINK that may be my problem. I ordered new oil and filter so I'm going to do an oil change and see if this helps my issue to start
