my alarm remote quit working. got a new battery and nothing happened. tried the reprogramming procedure from the forum. it never worked and i did this several times. now my alarm goes off everytime i open the door(i pulled the horn fuse,,for my neighbors)......but now everytime i open my door the flashers come on(i assume my alarm would sound too)....how can i fix this????

Don't you have another remote that came with the car? Did you try that one?

 

no it only came with one

 

So you can use your remote to unlock your doors and open the trunk, or are you using the key to unlock your doors?

 

Use your key and put it in the door keyhole and i think its turn it right and hold it there.

 

i am having to use my key,,,,,,,,remote does not work at all

 

i had the same problem once. i opened the door closed it and then put the key in the ignition and the alarm went off while the car on. and my alarm didnt click. all i did was put the key in afterwards and lock and unlock it with the key but after that my alarm worked after changing the battery.
