I made the mistake of forgetting to disconnect the negative battery terminal before removing the passenger airbag to reupholster it. On top of that one of the connectors that plug directly into the airbag (made of plastic) broke somehow and I soldered it back together and it plugged in fine. The problem is now the airbag light won't go away from the dash and I don't know if it's from me not disconnecting the negative before unplugging it or if it's because the soldering didn't work and I need a new wire harness for the passenger airbag. I searched and nothing like my situation came up so no negative comments please.
