ABS / DSC randomly pops on

This happens sometimes, but during some spirited driving, usually hitting a bump in the road during a curve or something? both the ABS and DSC lights popup on my dash. Anyone have any information or can point me in a good direction to what could be causing this and/or a solution?

So this happened again yesterday. Apparently it happens when hitting big bumps, both the ABS and TCS lights turn on. Not sure if they actually disable, I assume they do. I assume it's a sensor thing? Anyone have any information?

Any loss of traction can set it off.

I had old hard Hankook V12 tires, and just going around a bumpy corner set it off.

With new Michelin PSS it doesn't go off anymore ever.

A worn tire can make 2% more revolutions than a NEW ONE, and an old tire (4+ years) is definitely hard and slick.

Are you running a staggered wheel/tire setup?

Are you turning or under power/braking?

Does it feel like there is any lateral motion while going over the bumps?

No staggered setup, but it is usually over breaking (going over bumps hard) or maybe a quick shift. My question I guess is, is there anything to do about it or is this normal? Is there any way to get them back on without having to restart the car?

It's not normal. See if you can narrow it down to a specific wheel or side of car. If you have a damaged wheel speed sensor or wire you'll at least know which one.

Thanks, I figured it wasn't normal. I'll try to narrow it down.
