1st post, (sorry to be begging for advise with the 1st post) i've gone through the forum and can't find anything relating to my problem.


Just fitted a recon engine in a 53 plate RX8. The rear engine/piston will not fire. It's had 4 new coil packs, 4 new plugs, still no good. Just tested the injector feeds and they appear to be missing on 3 & 4, there is signal on 1 & 2, although at 1 point the plugs did appear to be wet.

Any Ideas before i set fire to it?

 

Did you hook everything back the right way? Are the l2\t2 coils firing?

 

Yes and yes both coils/plugs are sparking

 

Any chance the fuel injection order is wrong?

 

No the order is fine. We've got no signal going to the injectors from the ecu
