3 inch exhaust... suitable?

3 inch exhaust... suitable?
Hi, i have read the other posts and have yet to come a conclusion...


Is a custom 3" inch exhaust pipe all the way with a 3" inch muffler advisable for an NA rx-8?

or should i juz stick with 2.5" piping and muffler so that i wont have any backpressure problem and loss of power...

Ill follow what TEAMRX8 said, a 2.5 exhaust is more than enough for an N/A RX8. Now if you had an Fi'd RX8.. then yes you might wanna go with 3" or +. Is there any problems getting a 3" exhaust... NO.

I don't beloved we have a back pressure problem most people think wr have piston engines which does not apply to us

What back pressure issue. I've never heard of anyone having a back pressure issue with their 8.
