I just got my vehicle about a month ago and although it has a few cosmetic issues(needs new rear bumper/side skirts/Drivers side tailight crack-all OEM), I AM FREAKIN' LOVIN' IT!!!!!

Aside from the cosmetic issues, my only electronic problem is that the LEDS are out on my passenger side tailight. I unplugged the ones for the drivers side so that I didn't appear to have a running light out but I am wondering if I can repair/replace just the LEDS? Does anyone have any helpful info. If so, Thank You very much and again I am loving my RX8!!!!!!!!!

 

Once those die, they are dead. I'm sure with a little determination and ingenuity someone could get the housings open and repair them. However Mazda will just sell you an entire assembly to address the dead LED issue.

 

Are you talking about the entire tailight or just an assembly for the LEDS?
