2 days old...problem

Tonight ive noticed a difference in my 8.. I have AT and it seems that it doesnt shift up from third gear as smoothly as it did before (i.e. today)..There are times that i get to 38mph and im already in 4th gear...Just 10 minutes ago I was at 60 before it ever hit 4th...What is going on? is there a problem already??

That's one of the problems with slushboxes, they have a mind of their own and can be rather unpredictable. I'm guessing that's all it is.

I have the AT and it depends on how deep you have your right foot in it. It is learning how you drive and adjusting accordingly.

Yes I would go with Old Rotor's post... Not neccessary a problem, good thing you can you make it shift when you want it. If this is not the case please let us know anyways. Good luck.

2days old?

if your car is two days' old, you should be driving it llilke you 90... you do not want to put any stress on you engine for at least 1500 miles. you need to break that in before pushing it. i have a manual... and didn't pass 3000rpm until3500 miles... and do you know how hard that was? can you imagine how many civics i had to let burn me cause they pulled up on me at a stop light...them with their stupid bodykits and cherrypopping exhaust...
