Angry Won't start...

my car will not start im positve its flooded and i took the plugs out and they need to be replaced so now my car is sitting in the garage no plugs in, flooded and on top of it i just put a new exhaust on. blows ***** because a new exhaust turned into new plugs and a car that will not start.

i'm going to put new plugs in on monday or when i get them and try starting it. any ideas on what i should do?

If you have a second car take the battery to a autozone or something like that where they will check it. Have it checked out. My friend battery went out and when he tryed to start his 8 he flooded it. We put the new one in and use the deflooding wiper mod. After a few hard cranks it fired right up with a big *** back fire. Let me know if you need any help online.
BTW, do you have lights? when you turn the key does it click but not crank?

thanks, it cranks and sounds like it want to turn on but wont. i just took the plugs out and i think im going to let it sit over night; gas came out when i took the bottoms out. hopefully in the morning everything will be dryed out or not soo bad that i can put the plugs back in (now cleaned). i'm way too pist right now, had the car for 4 years and never flooded on me and now it did just sucks. i got the battery last summer and i have a heavy charger/starter on the battery that way i won't kill it.

Yea let that dry out or do THIS and your 8 will be running in under 10 min. BTW, you have to crank her for a lill bit. So if you have a strong starter or strong battery (I have a red top) you will be ok. Just keep trying for like 10-15 seconds at a time. I had my friends car running in no time.

Do the dechoke procedure in your Rx8 quick reference booklet.
IIRC push the accelerator all the way down then turn the key for 10 sec. then turn key to the off position.
Then release the accelerator and turn the key until the engine wants to turn over.
It will idle rough for a couple of minutes, about 5-10, then go back to normal.

It took me a couple of tries but it worked.
