Hey guys,

I just replaced my engine. I want to make sure my wiring harness connects to the correct ignition coil. Does anyone have a wiring diagram? That shows what color wire connects to which coil? Thanks.

 

You keep opening threads about things easily found on the workshop manual.
www.foxed.ca has it. That's all you really need to know

 

It's probably me, but I can't find a wiring diagram for the coils. The picture does show, the wires to the spark plugs, but not the harness to coils.

 

Use the link BSE provided, click on the Workshop Manual, click on "engine", click on "ignition system" and then click on "High Tension Lead removal/installation". That page shows which colored tape on the wiring harness goes to which spark plug and coil.

My rx8 keeps burning out one of the coils it starts but after I let it warm up and take it for a spin around the block and get back home I turn it off and it won't start again I have two rx8 so I keep changing the coils and it starts but does the same thing burns the coil
