will this work to clean the carbon from my engine?
ok so i want to clean up my engine and see if that helps with some problems i have been having. so i got most of the stuff to switch out the transmission fluid but i would also like to get the carbon out of my engine. The "Mazda" tech that i went to at a mazda shop said that he uses this GM top engine cleaner? i dont wanna put this through my engine and end up hurting it...let me know if anyone has had experience with this...i know that in the diy the person uses mazdas Zoom Power cleaner....i will get that if i have to but if i can use this stuff then great. Thanks

there's really no way to tell for sure. if you compared the major ingredients it would tell you something, but i doubt either one tells you the chemical components.
Without that info, I would say:
positive: it *probably* does basically the same thing. Carbon is carbon, however deposits of hydrocarbons from gasoline are not the same as those from oil, as found in our engines.
negative: it definitely was not specifically formulated for rotaries. Also, buying a can of seafoam or zoom-zoom cleaner is pretty inexpensive, and you know it works. So that's probably a better idea...
