What are these plugs?
Hi,
I bought my 2k4 this summer from an owner who was very meticulous, to the point of absurdity, about maintaining the car. Full inspection and detail at every oil change at the dealer type thing.
After I bought it, in the glove box I found a sealed bag of these rubber plugs:
According to the illustration, they are meant to be put into holes on the underside of the car. My questions are: 1) I put them in since I'm going out on the snow for the first time tomorrow, should I leave them there? What are they for exactly? and 2) there are actually 6 holes under the car (that I found), and these plugs only cover 4. It's ok?
Thanks!

Put them in the locations indicated on the package. The dealer is supposed to do this as part of pre-delivery inspection process. They failed. The holes are used during shipment that is why the plugs wait until PDI. The remaining holes allow drainage.
