What is my stock intake missing (VFAD)?

What is my stock intake missing (VFAD hose)?

I am attempting the put stock intake but seem to be coming up short with the VFAD tube from the actuator to the solenoid valve.
What part am I missing to connect 1 to 2?

ive seen the diagrams, but does anyone have a clear picture of a stock engine bay? What tube connects the vfad system and how is it routed?

That line isn't supposed to be cut there AFAIK. Just join it with an appropriate size plastic union.
