I am taking a long road trip and was planning to remove the front passenger seat for cargo space. I am concerned about what that will do to the airbag system. I don't want it to trip an error that only the dealer can reset (which is what happened on my mitsubishi). Has anyone temporarily removed the passenger seat and driven the car? If so, does it disable the entire airbag system? Does it reset itself when the seat is installed again?
