Tearing down the motor, got the first housing off, second is a little more tricky. How do i get the dowels out so that i can move the housing off around the crank? tried running a bolt in the dowel and pulling it out but it doesnt seem to want to budge. ideas?

Did you remove the 19mm bolt on the e-shaft? the one that's a bitch to take off and often requires a torch?

 

yeah had to set the motor on the ground with a couple guys holding onto it and use a 5 foot long steel pipe for leverage but i got it off.

 

should probably clarify, i guess what im trying to remove now is the second iron. i got the first housing off, immediately following that is iron i guess.
