What is the different between right and left handrive RX-8?

What is the different between right and left handrive RX-8? Beside steering wheel...
Is whole engine compartment is flip from left to right?
Are the rotors spin oppositely?

Any posible to covert from left to right?

I just love my 8 and want to take her home, Thailand where we drive on right side in next couple years. And 8 in Thailand so expensive. 8 costs around $140,000....

Considering cheap labor in Thailand, I might would like to take her home and convert her.
I know people who can convert EVO 7-9, Supra and Jaguar...
But if I need to flip whole engine... Well.... then....

Thank you,
Tony

most of them are the same except for the driver side, brake master cylinder, and other minor stuff.

Techincally, it IS possible to convert it left to right, but the labor cost alone might kill you. 140,000 US dollarS ? thats ridiculously high price. but if you want to do the convert, consider the labor and the high price of import parts, you might probably spend more than that.

You cannot fight the coriolis effect. You'll have to make due with your engine spinning the same direction, but installing it upside down in the engine bay.

Yeppp RX-8 in Thailand cost around 140,000 USD.
Main resons is tax.
400-500% for import tax + 200-300% for sport/luxury car tax.

You will see only 1-2% of sport car on Thailand's road. Even coupe is rare.

But if your take your car home, then no tax. However, you need to own it for at lease 3 years.

About labor in Thailand.
Skilled labor costs around 70 baht/hr.. which is around $3.
Unskilled labor costs around 50 cent/ hr.

sounds about right. Vehicles are heavily taxed along with fuel in most countries. In singapore I wouldn't be able to afford a rx8. A coworker of mine is moving back to India, and he's leaving his new CX-7 behind, partially because of the 200% tax (30k vehicle + $60k in taxes)

It's actually about 300% max.

Okay.

Not really. You still have to pay tax but the estimated price (for calculating tax) will be reduced in proportion to its age.

You must have been away from home for too long...

You can get a new RX8 for 2.x million bahts. Check www.siamspeed.com

Better yet, get a new GT-R.

Thanks for update.
When I first got my 8, my dad said it costs around 4 million baht from import dealer, SEC.
So how often can you see 8 on the road these day?
