putting plus (89 octance) gas in th rx8 do to the rotary. cus my mom borrows it sometimes and when she puts more gas in shell put the plus. i myself put the premium. i try to tel her to but she wont listen. so could anything rele bad happen?

 

the worst thing that will happen is that the engine will blow.

realistically speaking, however, nothing should happen unless you live in the desert and its really really hot.

 

or unless you get that damm new recall that bumps your timing and omp to cause more problems than i like to talk about .burns even more oil and the performance sucks big time now! AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGG i am so mad at my dealer now.sorry guys me car in the shop since #2 rotor been going haywire...i used 89 every now and then but i am forced to use 93 only because of the recall specs and the heat index!!ARRGG!!
