What is behind solid front grill?

Can someone tell me what is located behind the solid (i.e. non-see through)portion of the front grill?? The only way I can figure this out is by dismantling and my back is already killing me today.

Reason for the question: I'm looking for a spot to drill a 1/4" hole to thru-bolt a club burgee pin and don't want to drill into a aortic artery or anything vital.

Arrow Nothing much.....

Drill away.

There is a large steel body-colored frame piece, (the "bumper" in the bumper), and on the US spec model there is also a chunk of that white expanded polystyrene foam stuff for a bit more cushion.

The white foam in the picture is just behind the closed area of the grill...not anything important right behind that as long as you only go back a few from the solid piece (the part your are talking about) behind the grill...

Thanks guys - there's nothing like an x-ray for a definitive answer to the question! With all that foam and enclosed metal, I now have to figure out how to attach the nut and washer to the bolt to keep it from falling out of the hole! Looks like drilling the hole is the easy part.
