Water Wetter
Howdy Folks,
Has anyone used Red Line's "Water Wetter" in their cooling system? I currently use it in my liquid-cooling system for my computer to good effect (dropped average temps by about 2c), but have never tried it in the much higher heat application of an automobiles cooling system. Any pros or cons from anybody that has used it (or is using it)?

Thanks,
Bill

it works best with just plain distilled water and the water wetter addative, no antifreez...obviously this is for summer only...and i still worry about corrosion and electrolosis, so i have always used a 60/40 water/coolant and a bottle of watter wetter in my car.
there is also a zero pressure coolant, cant remeber the name, but some buddys of mine ran it, never got an actual reading on it, but the stock coolant gauge was normaly at 12o'clock and with the zero pressure coolant it was at 11o'clock.
the stuff was pretty expensive, about 2x what a 1 gallon bottle of antifreez cost and you dont mix it with water, its straight from the jug to your car. also you run a non-presureised radiator cap. Interesting stuff

ahh i found it
"Evans NPG+ is a special waterless coolant with a 375 degreeF boiling point at zero psi and does not freeze until -70 degreesF (it contracts and gets 'slushy'; not really freezes). Because it is non-aqueous (no water), corrosion is virtually eliminated and there is no need to change it yearly. In fact, it has been tested for hundreds of thousands of miles with no signs of degradation, according to Evans. While the initial cost is high, compared to ordinary coolant, it is a bargain over the life of the vehicle."
