Water pump studs - threaded or pressed?
Hello,

Does anybody know if the water pump studs on the front cover are pressed or threaded in to the cover?

The studs are threaded into the front side housing and run through the front cover. They are not actually attached to the front cover and are about 4" long.

I took it out over lunch by double-nutting it. Piece of cake.

It did appear to be threaded into the front cover, and not through to the iron. It was only a couple inches long.
