Car Cover Suggestions

Hey guys,

did a search and didn't find much- the 8 is a summer/spring car for me and I don't have a garage- yet. So I want to cover the car. I know about the Mazda car cover- my dealer quoted $250. My question is- is it even water proof/resistant?

if not- any suggestions for other car covers they have to be water proof/resistant.

any input?

thanks

WalMart sells generic Tyvek covers for about $40; I think they're pretty water-proof.

Read my review of the OEM car cover in the Car Care section: They're too tight.

The Weathershield cover is brilliantly waterproof but a little hard to handle in a breeze due to its light weight. It can be washed in your home washing machine (and dried in your dryer), which is a terrific convenience. I got mine from AJ-USA (do a Google search). Should be around $200.

Bought a car cover at Pep Boys last year for my Infiniti (SOLD), for about $200... it's a high quality cover, and it protects my car from rain, snow, sleet, sun, insects, you name it... made from teflon fiber...

Damn, baby. Rosenthal must be getting a lot of returns, to have added such a strong disclaimer.

Like swoope got mine at carcoverworld.com.
I bought the Noah, the fit is perfect, not loose, not too tight.(don't have to worry about scratching it when putting it on or off) It is also weather resistant and keeps my car pretty dry when it rains heavy.
It comes with cable and lock and took about a week to reach me.
The Mazda cover would garnish too much unwanted attention where I live.
