Warning!

Be very careful when removing coolant overflow tank. You can break your radiator. I learned this the hard way. Now I need to replace it because I broke off the nipple that the hose goes on. :/

Can I fix this or should I just replace the entire thing?

Basically need to replace the rad...there is no real easy way to replace the tank...or add a plug that will work

Don't despair...you aren't the only one that has done that

It happens all the time. People always tried to pull it straight out. They should use a flat head screw driver to pry the hose off.

I need a rad like today and installed tomorrow. Monday I have to check into my new station. So I'm basically screwed... Anyone got any ideas for a quick fix? Station is about 180 miles from current location.

nothing will hold it in place, you have to buy a new rad.

cuz the system is under pressure, even u glue it, it will snap right off when the car heats up.

Maybe its a good time to shop for a new Aluminum Radiator. BHR and Mazmart, both have their own version of Radiator.

I dont think you will want to go with the one I got cuz it cost double (and double in size)

I had the same thing happen. RX7store was able to get me a Koyo overnight, but they're here in OH. Good luck man. A junk yard might be able to get you one.

At least you've got the Camp Pendleton (automotive) Hobby Shop at your disposal Marine. BHR can I'm sure overnight you a radiator (stellar customer support).

Order online and also send Ray a PM

edit: Whoops; you're probably already at your new duty station by now. Have a good tour!

i've replaced mine a couple times too. you can actually pull it up from the top. you just need to remove everything in the way.

FYI, do not remove the nut on the bracket looking thing on the AC line. you will vent off all your refrigerant. i tried to move it out of the way and found out the hard way.

Best thing to do is buy a replacement hose.

Tehn cut off the old one with a knife.

Then you will never break those nipples
