ASH do you know if the PCM ID is stamped on the outside of the PCM itself?

I would be careful with that application chart (US) as it is incomplete, there is no Miata or MX-5 info that I can see either, did not know 2002 Mazda 2's were sold in NA ...as far as RX-8's goes they also list Australian and UK PCM numbers, but these are not available as a part from a US Mazda Dealer because the are not installed in their 8's...they only import parts for their country...as a general rule..unless a guy makes an error with initial orders and that can happen.

Yes, should be a label, see this USA RX-8 PCM pic (off ebay)...if you get your PCM number, then quote it to your Mazda Dealer...it may (in most cases) supersedes to another newer number or a different END letter, from a K to an L or M as an example.

how do you know this? can i find this info for my pcm? n3h6 18881m?
is mine compatible with N3ZD18881R0J?
