not exactly sure this is the right place but here goes...

i was wondering if anyone knows if any of the Kartboy exhaust hangers will fit our car

they do make hangers specifically for the mazda 6 and protoge, as well as subarus and mitsubishis, but also say their products may fit other makes and models. i emailed them but they were not sure.

if not these, does anyone know of other good urethane exhaust hangers?

I got a set of 6 that I got from ebay (red urathane), the holes a a bit smaller so i just drilled bigger holes...

 

I can provide dimensions on the OE RX-8 hangers if that will help

 

My question is, do we really need to spend money on urethane exhaust hangers? Aftermarket exhausts a usually lighter than stock(although that website would have you believe otherwise). I have installed many aftermarket exhaust systems on many of my cars and not once did I ever have one sway.

I just don't see the need to spend money on urethane exhaust hangers.
