running dual rotary engines linked by a timing chain isn't a good idea because it wouldn't produce any more than a 2 rotor engine, and your design has many negatives, more weight, you just added an extra end plate and flywheel to the engine, plus losses in the chain, and flywheel. If you stack the rotors, you get rid of all that, lessening the weight and friction, and making the engine a smaller package. There just isn't any benefit to your design, sorry to say.

Mounting twin rotary
If it is mounted sideways, to take advantage of its short length, I think the potential can be taken advantage of, then width and also linkage to the drivetrain become less problematic.
