turbo timer=no flooding?

I know the RENESIS isn't turbocharged, but has anyone thought of using a Turbo-timer to allow the engine to idle long enough to warm up beyond the cold start injection map to avoid flooding? Maybe it could be wired to switch off when the Thermostat reaches a certain temp, similar to the way they switch off when it drops to a certain temp on turbo cars. This would allow you to movie it short distances without worrying about flooding accidentally. Any input? I have no idea if it could work, just throwing it into the mix

I think the folks experiencing major flooding problems have more going on than just not warming the car up. This has been suggested several times in other threads also.

For the folks with major issues flooding, I'm thinking there has to be more to the story otherwise wouldn't everyone be having this issue all the time? It seems to be limited to a relatively small set of folks, it would be nice if there was some common behaviour/etc which might help explain it.

i had asked my dealer about that one time because they have NA timers as well similiar to turbo timers. although he told me that if i had an aftermarket timer installed it would definently ruin the warranty because it taps into the ecu wires. but i'm not sure maybe mazda will make one? haha

another problem which may be occuring is that the ECU doesn't come out of cold start up becuase it doesn't register the thermostat right (another older problem). resetting the PCM fixes it i think.

anyways, all old news.
