Turbo or Super?
I am assuming you want a simple answer. While both forcefully introduce atmosphere into the engine (allowing more fuel to be added - hence more powerful combustion) the difference is that a supercharger is driven by a belt running off of the crank shaft whereas the compressor of a turbo is driven by a turbine that is spun by exhaust gasses exiting through the manifold. That is pretty sophmoric, but you get the idea.
