Tune after Exhaust system install?

just wanted to know if it is recommended to get a tune after putting in a air intake and exhaust system?

Comments very much appreciated!

A tune is not necessary after installing a CAI or exhaust, you will only gain about 10 - 15 hp from all these mods.

recommended but not mandatory. also don't expect any crazy power gains even with the tune.

ok thanks for your comments! reason im asking is that I changed my transmission fluid but the tranny itself is old so I don't want the tranny to screw up if they put it on the dyno! is it a risk worth taking or just install the mods and leave it! would I still gain those small hp or I would need a tune to gain them?

Those bolt on mods won't really get you big gains, just a little bit...very little.

lol kk thanks for your help! ya Im not looking for any power laws here in Canada prevent you from driving fast but as long as it sounds good im happy!

too loud? i have a straight pipe on my 8 and i have been to quite a few tracks with no issues
