tune to 87 octane

i was wondering if any of you happy go lucky tuners out there such as mm could provide a tune for the utilization of 87 octane in a way the engine will not be damaged at all. im sure timing would have to be changed... just wondering.

dyno or it didnt happen.

also, isnt the int-x supposed to give you 20whp as it is, without any tuning for 87.

Well recently after dynoing my car with the int-x my motor went. The int-x did not casue the engine failure scott tuned it safe. I think i have had the hardest rx8 for scott to tune, my car did not want to comply. After all tuning i was able to get 20 more rwhp though out the rpm range. It was a totally different car.

Here out in long island there is a huge difference between super and regular ... honestly id rather use regular ... but i fear detonation. so i guess it can be done.

can this be dine just by adjusting the map signal or is more needed?

I switched to 89 lately.

it feels the same. and I can save a buck something each fillup, after 30 fillups I can buy another tank of gas without doing anything so why now !?

I cant do 87, cuz the engine bog down when I push it. so 89 that is. or maybe back to 93 when summer comes, will see.
