Lightbulb Trunk open

Is there a mod out there to make the trunk pop fully open instead of just an inch or so. Would be awesome to hit the button and have it open fully.

Done that......

Well, did it on an old Taurus I had! Just put wedges under the spring seats actually!

....but the '8 is a far tougher cookie.

I'm on it!

Also not good if its windy. There are cars where the trunk opens fully and if they get caught by the wind it is not pretty. About $1500 in damage to my buddy's Altima (includes shattered rear window).

I like the way it works now just fine.

Hey if StealthTL gets something done for this, I wouldn't mind doing it. I'd like to spend time doing DIYs. I never open it while I'm inside my car anyways, unless I'm already getting out.

Don't open it when it is raining. :p

I was just thinking that if you are walking to the car, hands full you could just push the button and in ya go.
