Transmission Bracing
The issue I've noticed while driving my RX8 is that my shift stick tends to "jiggle" when I go over bumps, lumps, and the like. To me, logical sense is telling me "that's because the transmission is moving around!" Or maybe this is normal? This is the first MT vehicle I've ever owned and driven so I have no clue! It seemed odd to me that it would move around that much, and I began considering a transmission brace.
So, question: would getting a transmission brace help this? Or is it even worth it? This is my every-day driving vehicle and I don't do any sort of track racing or anything.

He's as bad as Can
The trans on this car already has a strong support member connecting the trans to the rear diff. Its item#15 in the attached PDF, its called the 'power plant frame'. Some vibration is normal, but excessive can be a problem with a motor mount. You can check them for any cracks, HERE is a thread about that.
