TPMS Light error?

Is it possible that the TPMS is detecting my pressure as low because the temperature was low today? I started the car, ran for about 5 seconds and TPMS started beeping. I'm guessing it's because of cold weather. Anyone else experienced TPMS light because of cold weather?

Did it eventually go off after the tires were warmed up?

Did you check your tire pressure?

Yes, the TPMS is probably indicating low tire pressure that may be due in part to cold temps. The colder the temp, the slower the air molecules move hence lower pressure (or something like that anyway ). Check your tire pressures regularly with the tires cold and inflate them to the recommended pressure. Tire pressures usually will vary a few lbs as the outside temperatures change.

always check the pressure when cold(mornings before driving) and and using that measurement add or subtract the amount needed to bring them to the proper psi. for the potenza's on the rx-8 that is 32 psi

Mine came with Dunlop SP Sport. I think the 32psi still applies though.
