Temp Monitor on Radio Broken

I went to start up the car early yesterday morning to find that my temp. monitor was off.

I tried turning on and off the key switch but that is a no go. I guess I could try pulling that battery cable.

I just want to know if this is happened to anybody else and if this is a quick fix. It's not big deal considering I'm still under warranty. It's just annoying.

05 RX-8 Sport model, standard radio w/o Bose.

Hold down the radio power button and the seek up button (to the right of the radio power) for a second and you will get a reading. It will say A/C and then 0-16. 0 is when the A/C dial is as cold as it can go and it the number should go up by 1 each time you turn the A/C **** toward the heat. 16 should be full heat. If its F'ed bring it to the dealer to replace it. Common problem

Push the display button...it's toward the right side of the radio, labeled "Disp".

Omg...I have officially disqualified myself from life for a couple of days, as I reflect on my past experiences with cars.

I would pretend this thread did not happen, to assist in any posts I make after this thread, as a valuable opinion. Thank you for you time.

You get credit for figuring out that "Amb" is the actual on/off switch, and not "Disp" like I said .
