Is the TB gasket a rubber reusable one or a remove and replace gasket? if so, how much is a replacement at a dealer?

 

Reusable.....as long as it's not deformed it can be reused for a long time

Also be sure not to expose it to certain lubricants such as WD-40, CRC, and the like. Clean and dry is what it is designed for.

 

yeah, rubber doesn't seem to like that too much! Thanks for the tip though. I plan to pull it and do a simple polish (and maybe light port) job. When I did this in my grand prix it really showed up in throttle response. I've read a few positive reviews for it here too, so I thought it was worth a shot. I know it's not a big power adding mod, but if it gives me half of the feel I got in the GTP then it'll be worth the time.
