A/T motor to M/T Chassis
I have access to an A/T motor fitted with a flex plate, obviously the flex plate would have to go.
Will this A/T motor replace an M/T motor easily, i mean will it marry up to the manual transmission easily.
I know there are different mounting plates, apart from that are there any other differences.

While searching an unrelated topic on oil injectors i came across this gem by RotaryResurrection on the first search page.

After all my searching on this topic the above never showed up, still some reach results were 101 pages long.
Anyhow RotaryResurrection has talked me out of it. I'll keep an eye out for an M/T motor.

Well actually nothing is wrong with it, there is an opportunity for me to buy a near new A/T motor cheap, I guess i am trying to invest for the future. In OZ the going price for engine replacement is about $9,000US.
But i've just been told it's a lot more complicated than i imagined.
There are 3 different engines 04-08 cars...early auto 4 port, late auto 6 port, and manual 6 port.
